AskQA (“AskQA”, “we”, “us”) provides multi-agent outbound software for business users. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to visitors, account holders, and business users of AskQA. Our service is intended for business and professional use, not for children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
2. What we do
AskQA helps revenue teams configure an ideal customer profile (ICP), run AI-assisted discovery and research agents, review leads, draft outreach, and optionally send or export results. You remain responsible for approving leads and messages before they are sent.
3. Information we collect
Account information
- Full name, work email address, company name
- Password (stored as a salted hash — we do not store plain-text passwords)
- Account plan, onboarding status, and billing identifiers if you upgrade (e.g. Stripe customer ID)
Campaign and business data you provide
- Seller profile, product/offer details, ICP criteria, messaging tone, and campaign settings
- Lead lists and agent outputs: company names, contacts, job titles, emails, LinkedIn URLs, research notes, qualification scores, and outreach drafts
- Send-from identity we configure for your account (e.g. your verified business email on our mail provider)
- Optional SMTP settings (host, port, email, app password) if you connect your own inbox instead of platform delivery
Usage and technical data
- Session tokens stored in your browser to keep you signed in
- Campaign job status, timestamps, and dashboard activity needed to run the service
- Click tracking when recipients use tracked links (
/r/…URLs) — we log the link slug, associated account, and redirect event - Reply routing metadata when inbound reply tracking is enabled (token, sender address, timestamp)
- Monthly usage counters (campaign runs and sends) for plan limits
- Standard server and hosting logs (IP address, user agent, request metadata) from our infrastructure providers
Communications
- Emails we send for account access, password reset, and service notices
- Support messages you send to viral@askqa.app
4. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the platform
- Run AI agents on your campaign configuration to generate leads and drafts
- Send outreach only when you approve leads and explicitly click send — via our platform email delivery (Resend) or your connected SMTP where supported
- Measure link clicks, replies (when enabled), and campaign performance for your dashboard
- Process payments and manage subscriptions where billing is enabled
- Respond to support requests and legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your campaign data to train public models for unrelated products without your consent.
5. AI and third-party processors
To run agents, enrich leads, send email, host the app, and process payments, we use trusted service providers. A current list is in our Sub-processors page. They include, among others:
- Hosting & data: Vercel (frontend), Railway (API, PostgreSQL, Redis)
- AI: Google Cloud / Vertex AI or compatible LLM providers configured for campaign execution
- Email: Resend (platform transactional and outreach delivery, password resets, reply webhooks)
- Enrichment (when enabled): Bright Data, CoreSignal, Hunter.io, and similar data APIs
- CRM (optional): Salesforce when you connect an export integration
- Payments: Stripe for subscriptions (when billing is enabled)
These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service, under their own terms and security practices. We do not sell your data to them.
6. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on: contract (to provide the service), legitimate interests (security, analytics, product improvement), and consent where required (e.g. optional marketing). You may withdraw consent without affecting lawfully processed data before withdrawal.
7. Retention
We keep account and campaign data while your account is active. After deletion (see our Data Deletion Policy), we remove or anonymize data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal, security, or billing purposes.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email viral@askqa.app. We will respond within applicable legal timeframes.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell personal information. California residents may request access to, deletion of, or correction of personal information we hold, and may opt out of any future “sale” or “sharing” as those terms are defined under California law. Submit requests to viral@askqa.app. We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
9. International transfers
Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards where required by law.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong password and protect your account credentials.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
